Bringing More People to the Table

As the campaign has grown, we are thankful for the many people who have engaged with it. Supporters from diverse backgrounds have welcomed the campaign into their homes, asked tough questions, and shared their concerns and ideas. While disagreements have occurred, we view that as healthy, this campaign is about showing politics can be constructive rather than divisive. Voters deserve honest information, not personal attacks or misleading claims. Communities grow stronger through shared ideas, experiences, and hopes. I intend to finish the campaign as I began it: by making room for more voices, more perspectives, and more people who want to be part of something positive. My closing message: let's bring more people to the table.

Christian speaking with people at his kitchen table

As our team has grown, I've been feeling grateful for the way people have engaged with this campaign.

People with different backgrounds, experiences, interests, and perspectives have invited me into their homes, stopped to talk at their doors, asked hard questions, shared their concerns, and offered their ideas.

We haven't always agreed. That's okay. In fact, that's part of what this campaign is about.

We're trying to show that politics doesn't have to be about choosing sides and tearing someone else down. We can listen. We can disagree. We can respect each other. And we can still work together.

I believe voters deserve honest information about the candidates and the choices before them. We don't make our communities stronger through personal attacks, misleading claims, or efforts to turn neighbors against one another. We make them stronger by talking about our ideas, our experiences, and what we hope to accomplish together.

That's the kind of campaign I've wanted to run from the beginning, and it's the kind of campaign I intend to finish.

As we head toward Election Day, I hope we'll keep making room for more voices, more perspectives, and more people who want to be part of something constructive.

Let's finish this campaign the same way we started it: by bringing more people to the table.
